The Green Bay Packers posted the highlight of Matthew Golden’s long touchdown catch from Jordan Love during Tuesday’s open training camp practice.
Traditionally, the Packers haven’t made available training camp highlights from 11-on-11 periods. Either the policy is changing or the play from Tuesday was too good not to share publicly.
“Actually a route I ran earlier in the week,” Golden said after practice. “I had that route again today, I did something a little bit different, had the DB bite under it and just took the route hot. And Jordan gave me a good ball.”
Golden got behind the coverage of Nate Hobbs and Evan Williams and caught Love’s pass on the run. The result was a touchdown of at least 60 yards.

Golden also made a big-time play during 1-on-1s between pass-catchers and defensive backs. He adjusted to an underthrown ball and made a contested catch in front of Carrington Valentine. The Packers didn’t post the play, but it still ended up on social media.
