Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely was carted off the field at the end of Tuesday’s training camp practice with a left ankle injury that could sideline him for a couple of weeks, coach John Harbaugh said.
On the last rep of a one-on-one red-zone drill, Likely was facing off against safety Sanoussi Kane when he went down. He grabbed his left leg near his ankle and punched the ground in frustration. Athletic trainers tended to Likely as the team huddled on an adjacent field, and he was loaded onto a cart.
Likely later hobbled into the Ravens’ facility, putting little weight on his injured foot.
“It’s going to be a few weeks,” Harbaugh said. “He rolled his ankle, foot area, so we’ll get an MRI tomorrow and see exactly what needs to be done, but it’ll be a few weeks. It’s good that it’s this early in camp.”
Likely posted career highs in catches (42), receiving yards (477) and touchdowns (six) in 2024 and was the leading receiver in the team’s divisional-round playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Entering the final year of his rookie contract, Likely was poised to take an even greater role in the offense. The Ravens have good depth at the position, with Mark Andrews, Charlie Kolar and fullback Patrick Ricard all returning.
